2007 State of Oregon Sustainability Award

Exemplar Award for Small Business

Governor Ted Kulongoski awarded Sustainable Harvest with the 2007 Exemplar Award for Small Business at the State of Oregon Sustainability Awards banquet.

“As [the] award winners demonstrate, Oregon is pioneering efforts to create more sustainable business structures, attracting investment and economic opportunities to the state,” said Governor Kulongoski.

2006 SCAA Sustainability Award

In 2006, Sustainable Harvest was recognized with the Sustainability Award from the Specialty Coffee Association of America for our work as a socially responsible business in the coffee industry, and primarily for our role as a green coffee importing business that has brought significant economic, social, and environmental improvements for the producer communities it serves

In fall 2007, Sustainable Harvest was ranked among Inc. Magazine’s Inc. 5000, which lists the fastest growing companies in America. Sustainable Harvest was also the top-ranked coffee company in Oregon, and was second among coffee firms nationally. The Inc. 5,000, an extension of Inc. Magazine’s annual Inc. 500 list, includes many businesses that are too big to grow at the pace required to make the Inc. 500, as well as a host of smaller firms. Taken as a whole, these companies represent the backbone of the U.S. economy.
