Divisoria
Peru
One of the most promising and flavorful new coffees to be found in Peru, Divisoria is a group of several hundred hardworking farmers near the Tingo Maria area of Northern Peru. They grow beans at 1800 meters, and hand pulp them. Drying the parchment on map, the group has well trained cuppers who carefully select and monitor the cup quality of every coffee coming from the cooperative, before it goes to the dry mill for export. Sustainable Harvest roaster customers from around the world, including Sevan Istanboulian of Cafe Mystique in Montreal, Canada and Steven Macedonia of Union Roasters in England, have both developed direct, transparent relationships with the Divisoria coffee and proudly offer it as a single origin standalone coffee.
