The reason so many roasters choose to work with Sustainable Harvest is our proven track record of delivering coffee with consistency and reliability, harvest after harvest. The key to this success is a direct result of our investment in three overseas offices that provide farmers and cooperatives with direct support.
In 2002, Sustainable Harvest opened its first origin office, Sustainable Harvest at Origin/Mexico, in Oaxaca to train and support coffee growers in Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Honduras. Our second origin office, Sustainable Harvest at Origin/South America opened in 2005 in Lima to support growers in Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, and Brazil. Our third office opened in 2007 in Kigoma, Tanzania. Sustainable Harvest at Origin/Africa manages our coffee project with the growers living near Gombe National Park. THis office serves as a base for our work in Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya, and Ethiopia.
