Sustainable Harvest Coffee Importers has built a reputation for delivering high quality organic and Fair Trade coffees year after year to preeminent coffee roasters. We make it easy for roasters to buy specialty-grade green coffee from a sustainable supply chain. Our team in Portland provides importing, shipping, and warehousing logistics to ensure a timely delivery of coffee to roasters.

When you work with Sustainable Harvest, we add value to help you strengthen your coffee business and build direct relationships with your suppliers. And when you do well, you help us do good in coffee-growing communities. Our supply-side development team works daily with farmers and cooperatives to help them improve quality and meet your rigorous standards in order to foster long-term, successful relationships among roasters and growers.

Purchasing Guidelines
We recommend forward booking to secure your supply. Sustainable Harvest’s customers usually book their coffee from three to six months in advance of its arrival at our warehouses. When forward booking, we suggest a minimum purchase of 100 bags from a single origin.

Warehousing
Sustainable Harvest leases warehouse space in Oakland, California and Kearny, New Jersey. If you choose to store your coffee for shipment at a later date, Sustainable Harvest can store and finance it for you by special arrangement.

Shipping
Sustainable Harvest sells coffee on an ex-warehouse basis, and roasters are responsible for arranging their own freight and delivery. We are happy to offer advice on transportation lines that are best suited to your needs.
