About the producer

Asocafe Tatama coffee is produced by 200 quality-driven farmers in the Risaralda Department’s Santuario municipality who have helped put Santuario on the map as a top production zone in the department. In 2017, the farmers of Santuario were winners in a Risaralda-wide quality competition, receiving accolades for their coffee’s sweet, floral, and fruity notes. The region’s ideal climate (which is world-renown as part of the Colombian Coffee Triangle), along with the farmers’ carefully selected varieties and environmentally-friendly production practices, make their coffee worthy of high praise and recognition.

The organization has its own collection center, dry processing plant, quality control lab, and roasting operation (which serves the local market) to support its high-quality production.

Cooperativa de Risaralda serves as the exporter of Asocafe Tatama coffee, ensuring quality from farm to port through their extensive coffee infrastructure located throughout the department and logistics experience.
