Taking place June 17-21 in Kigali, Let’s Talk Coffee® Rwanda will unite coffee producers from Rwanda and Congo with specialty-coffee buyers, government officials, and other coffee stakeholders to meet, do business, discuss pressing issues in the industry, and recognize the incredible producing organizations from this rising specialty-coffee region. Family farming as a business

Let’s Talk Coffee® Rwanda 2019′s theme is “Family Farming as a Business.” Throughout the program, we’ll dive deep into topics like farm-level entrepreneurship, solutions to the global coffee crisis, gender-focused south-south cooperation, and building domestic coffee markets that are critical to successful farming businesses and the sustainability of the industry. Through this discussion, attendees will learn about the challenges facing farmers in Rwanda and Congo, gain insight into real-world examples of coffee business success, and explore opportunities for collaboration among the private and public sectors that support the growth of East Africa’s coffee industry.
