About the producer

Wilson has tended to Finca La Productora alongside his younger brother Juan Carlos since Juan’s childhood. For the vast majority of the farm's history, Wilson and Juan Carlos produced coffee without a focus on quality, selling most of their crop to intermediaries. In recent years, they decided to make the jump to specialty, joining a quality-focused producer organization which helped to drastically improve the quality of their coffee. While the producer organization collapsed following economic problems, the brothers have stayed committed to producing high-quality coffee and now regularly produce solid microlots scoring in the mid-to-high 80's.

This microlot is particularly complex with a profile of ripe cherry and plum that is complemented by underlying citrus notes. The body is satisfying with a creamy mouthfeel that finishes clean.
