On Thursday, July 30, 2020, Sustainable Harvest hosted our first ever live triangulation competition in collaboration with Ikawa! The event drew over 30 roasters throughout the US and Canada. Participants were sent "mystery samples" of green coffee that they then roasted using their Ikawa sample roasters to a roast profile provided by Sustainable Harvest. On the day of the event, participants then tasted the coffees in a triangulation-style cupping with the goal of figuring out which coffees were the odd ones out. The first five participants to submit the correct answers all received 1-year Tastify licenses, with the person in first place also receiving a Comandante grinder courtesy of Ikawa.
