The Sustainable Harvest Impact Framework is a tool to organize, prioritize, and set strategic goals for what, who, and how we positively impact as we Bring Relationship Coffee to the World. We are on a mission to build a better system that supports farmers in producing countries by bringing all coffee stakeholders together in radical transparency.
BUILD RELATIONSHIPS TO IMPROVE THE WORLD
Our framework includes 3 Impact Priorities that summarize the key areas we positively influence, working with our suppliers and clients, to achieve positive, regenerative impact in communities across the supply chain.
The Relationship Coffee Model builds long-term, stable commercial relationships throughout the supply chain, through transparency and trust. This in turn fosters broader Economic Opportunity for all stakeholders in the chain, which enables them to deepen their investment in Climate Resilience as well as Equity and Inclusion.

WHAT IS
THE MVP PROGRAM?
The Sustainable Harvest MVP, or Most Valuable Producer program, is an initiative to develop a responsive and resilient coffee supply chain by connecting roasters with the top echelon of Relationship Coffee producers.
We support the MVPs as they work to maintain their high level of performance, sustainability, and innovation.
The “Plataforma EDU,” or EDU platform, is a new digital learning system for members of our MVP program. Through the EDU platform, we continue to empower producers, sharing valuable, high-quality educational content that brings value to them, their communities, and their coffees.
COFFEE AS
FORCE FOR GOOD
We are proud to be a B Corp! We’ve been certified B Corp since 2008, the first coffee importer to do so. Since our founding, we’ve been focused on building an inclusive economy and are advocates for sustainable, transparent, and ethical business practices.
We scored 151.4 in our 2021 B Corp recertification assessment, placing us among the highest-scoring B Corps across all industries.

STORIES OF OUR IMPACT

Economic Opportunity
When a business becomes a B Corp, they’re making a commitment to doing business in a way that benefits all stakeholders involved.

Equity & inclusion
Sustainable Harvest's Founder and CEO, David Griswold, was featured in episode 10 of Allegra World Coffee Portal's podcast, "5th Wave"!

Equity & inclusion
The Relationship Coffee Model was formed on the idea that coffee supply chains don’t have to follow a linear path, a system that too often leads to inequality and is vulnerable to instability—a system that is unsustainable.

Economic Opportunity
We know that not all coffees are equal in their taste, story, and country context. So why should coffees from around the world be priced the same by the global market?
