Bloomberg Philanthropies has been working on women’s economic development in sub-Saharan Africa since 2008 and, to date, more than 100,000 women have been enrolled in Bloomberg Philanthropies-supported training programs. Key program partners include Women for Women, Sustainable Harvest, and the governments of Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
